We do not interpret or manipulate the original drawing. The spark and spontaneity of these drawings in precisely what we like and we do not want to alter them in any way.
how to place the wall decal
Placing a wall decal is really simple. But before putting it up, make sure that the selected surface is adequate:
- Do not stick it up in textured walls or surfaces with humidity problems
- Do not stick it up in walls where the paint is not totally cured or not yet dry
- Do not stick it up in plastered walls without paint
- Do not place it near heat sources
- Ensure that the selected surface is perfectly clean of dust and greasy residues
The wall decal we will send you is made up of three layers, in other words, what you will stick on the wall is sandwiched between two layers. One covers the adhesive part of the vinyl (silicon paper) and the other layer is the one you use to correctly place the wall decal (transporter).
The three layers are held together with tape for transportation purposes, please remove this tape before proceeding to place the wall decal.
01.. CHOOSE THE LOCATION
Before you take out any of the three layers, place the design on the surface where you want to stick it up to see what it will look like. Now is the moment to decide exactly where you want it to go.
You can place it on walls, ceilings, doors, glass, Formica, painted wood, tiles, metal, plastic, painted paper, fridges, etc.
02.. STICK IT UP
Once you have made up your mind, stick it on the surface. Start by securing the whole width of the top edge with adhesive tape.
Then proceed to carefully remove the silicon paper (the one touching the surface). Remove it slowly and in a linear fashion from top to bottom while at the same time exerting pressure on the transfer with the plastic spatula enclosed.
Do not hurry. Go over the whole surface again with the spatula, pressing hard.
03.. REMOVE THE TRANSFER
Almost there! Now remove the transfer that is on top of the vinyl.
NB: do not pull perpendicularly; pull downwards folding the transfer onto itself as shown in the video
how to order my child's design
In sr.Komuro we make a wall decal of the drawing of your choice. First we digitalise the drawing and with this information the cutting machine reproduces it at the desired scale.
We take care of everything, we digitalise and we cut, all you have to do is send us the drawing.

We need a scanned copy of the drawing at a resolution of 600 dpi (dots per inch)
- Maximum size 21x29 cm (A4 size)
- .jpg format
- Ideally not more than 3Mb

how much does it cost to have my child’s design custom-made into vinyl?
The price varies depending on the size and the number of colours used. Adding a colour means that part of the drawing needs to be cut again.

can I move the wall decal to another surface?
No, it's not possible.
The vinyl wall decals are not removable and cannot be pulled down from one place and then placed elsewhere without damage. Each time you bring it down it will deteriorate.
To remove it permanently, simply peel out an edge with your fingernail and gently peel the decal off the wall. If the paint was not properly cured, some paint flecking may occur.
how long does it take?
It takes from 7 to 10 days from the date of payment to dispatch our featured designs.
Custom made designs are dispatched 15 days once the payment is recived.
the order has not arrived
Once the order is dispatched we will send you an email specifying the dispatch date and the estimated date of delivery as well as a tracking number so that you can keep track of your order.
Try to organise for someone to be home on the expected delivery date. If there is nobody home, the courier company will leave a note and you will need to call them and re-arrange a delivery time.
If the order does not arrive, please contact the courier company (TourLine) at +34 972 505 542 and give them the tracking number. They update you regarding the delivery.
